Peripheral Joint Rehabilitation

Layfield & Associates Physical Therapy (LAPT) comprehensively addresses multiple impairments of peripheral joints. Peripheral joints include, but are not limited to, the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle. An examination includes subjective and objective measures that assess passive and active movement, strength, functional mobility, biomechanics, and movement analysis. With this information a comprehensive rehabilitation program is developed to effectively address limitations, needs and goals.

Treatment includes the utilization of manual therapy techniques, strength and flexibility training, endurance training, functional movement training, and motor control drills.

We set functional goals and are dedicated to helping our patients reach optimal recovery using innovate, evidence based treatment. Our patients can then go on with their lives in a healthy way.
